Le Nobel de la paix : Dr Denis Mukwege et Nadia Murad, heureux récipiendaires !
La date du Vendredi 5 octobre 2018 restera dans les annales du monde comme une étoile qui luit dans un ciel sombre au cœur des ténèbres : Un homme Denis Mukwege et une femme Nadia Murad entrent dans l’histoire par la grande porte ! Ils sont récipiendaires du prix Nobel de la paix. Denis Mukwege est docteur et Nadia Murad est activiste. Le Dr Denis Mukwege est congolais de la république du Congo Kinshasa et l’activiste Nadia Murad est yézidie de l’Irak. Un autre Black Friday ? Non, un Vendredi de lumière ! Premier prix Nobel de l’Afrique centrale !
La RDC est un vaste pays aux richesses immenses : coltan, diamant, forêt, faune… Mais les guerres et razzias qui ne cessent de secouer l’est de ce pays font des femmes les premières victimes d’une histoire sanglante. Ainsi au Sud-Kivu, un hôpital «Panzi» a été bâti en 1999, par le Dr Mukwege, pour rendre aux femmes violées et blessées leur dignité.
«Panzi» est aussi le livre du Docteur Mukwege, coécrit avec le Dr. Guy-Bernard Cadière. Il a été publié aux éditions du Moment, en 2014. Les femmes, utilisées comme arme de guerre subissent impunément des violences sexuelles.
Si le Dr Mukwege raconte le triste sort de ces milliers de femmes congolaises, l’activiste Murad relate sa vie de captivité comme ex-esclave de l’organisation Etat islamique. Elle est violée individuellement et collectivement. Plusieurs femmes irakiennes yézidies comme elle vivent cet enfer. Nadia Murad réussit néanmoins à s’enfuir des mains de ses bourreaux, vit plusieurs vies avant d’être repérée par l’avocate Amal Clooney. C’est le 16 septembre 2016 que Nadia Murad devient ambassadrice de bonne volonté des Nations unies pour la dignité des victimes du trafic d’êtres humains.

où toute plante du mal doit être déracinée.
