Loko Raymond est Doctorant en Statistiques. Pour le rêve, il choisit d’être romancier, poète et dramaturge. Agent municipal, longtemps Conseiller politique du député maire de Brazzaville, il a également été ancien Conseiller municipal de 2002 à 2003. Il a enseigné les Mathématiques, la Physique et la Gestion de Stocks à l’école de pharmacie Les Rosiers dont il est le promoteur et directeur général. L’établissement Les Rosiers se trouve au Plateau des 15 dans la rue Nko, à Brazzaville, Congo.
L’écriture est devenue pour vous un moyen de partager l’espoir avec le monde?
Tout à fait. C’est le seul moyen pour moi de créer mon univers personnel où je peux vivre mes rêves tels que je le veux, un monde meilleur que je me fais le plaisir de partager avec les autres. Un bonheur est plus fort lorsqu’il est partagé. On ne peut le vivre seul. Seul, on court le risque de ne pas le reconnaitre alors qu’il est bien présent.
Combien de romans avez-vous publiés jusqu’à ce jour?
Je suis également poète et dramaturge. Je suis effectivement auteur de neuf romans, mais je vous présente trois et vous laisse découvrir les autres.
L’héritage de Meya peint un tableau de plus de 150 proverbes, rendus avec toute leur originalité en Kongo d’abord avant d’être traduits en français, de plusieurs contes, énigmes et légendes. 
Une Folle dans la cour du roi, Ayessa, Congolais. Aminata, Malienne. Tous deux, étudiants à l’université d’Abidjan, font connaissance grâce au jeu des découvertes. Un jeu consistant à correspondre avec un inconnu de sexe opposé. Un amour romantique et dramatique, en même temps, naît entre les deux.
La république en Jaune, Un fait inédit se produit en République Fédérale du Congo, RFC. Une femme noire, Ntombo Anne, accouche de jumeaux de couleurs différentes. L’un est Noir, Senior Nzounzi Tchicaya, et l’autre Blanc, Junior Ntsimba Tchicaya.
Que devons-nous retenir de votre pièce Le crucifié de Mbanza Kongo?
Le crucifié de Mbanza Kongo peint le décor d’un Jésus-Christ, président du royaume Kongo, entouré de douze ministres dont Juda qui le trahit. Elle dénonce la mauvaise foi des hommes politiques qui n’hésitent pas à prendre les armes pour mettre leur pays à feu et à sang pour les intérêts égotistes, trompent leur peuple qui, malheureusement, cherche toujours ce qu’on lui promet et refuse de voir ce qui lui a été donné. De nombreux présidents sont assassinés pour cela et leur valeur n’est reconnue qu’après leur mort. Nous avons crucifié Jésus, assassiné bon nombre de Chefs d’État en Afrique, voire dans le monde, nous sommes aujourd’hui de ceux-là qui attendent avec impatience le retour du Christ et la réincarnation de ces bons chefs d’État tués ou écartés du pouvoir.
Que dit votre poésie?
Ma poésie est en même temps subjective et actuelle. Subjective car, elle se consacre à parler de ces mondes invisibles, de Dieu et des dieux, des saints africains, des ancêtres et leur philosophie traditionnelle, des mânes…Elle se base aussi de l’actualité: les guerres et tous les maux que nous nous faisons les uns les autres. Je m’amuse parfois à la mélanger avec des formules mathématiques ou philosophiques. Je la veux par ailleurs claire et non hermétique car, à mon avis, un message que je tiens à livrer au monde devrait être compris par tous les communs des mortels. Je m’éloigne de ce fait de la célèbre formule de Tchicaya U Tam’si qui pense à l’hermétique en mettant la clé sous le paillasson.
Des publications en perspective?
J’ai évidemment plusieurs projets littéraires en perspective. Seulement, après douze publications, j’aimerais, comme Dany Laferrière, écrivain haïtien, réécrire mes mauvais livres pour en écrire un bon. J’essaie de revoir mes anciens livres et leur faire profiter mon expérience présente qui, certainement, n’était pas mienne au moment de leur publication. Autant les mauvais livres de Dany lui ont valu de nombreux prix littéraires et une place à l’académie française autant je peux espérer que les miens m’aideront à avoir une place à l’académie congolaise, à défaut de l’avoir à l’académie africaine (rires)
Quels sont les thèmes les particuliers dans vos écrits?
Les thèmes les plus puissants de ma création littéraire sont sociétaux, en bien ou en mal : les guerres, les trahisons, l’amour, la paix, la spiritualité, la philosophie…
Dans vos écrits, le thème de l’eau revient souvent!
L’eau est bien primordiale dans mon théâtre et mes romans. Dans la pièce de théâtre, elle est un élément que la population réclame aux gouvernants. Elle ne la trouve malheureusement pas sinon difficilement. Dans mes romans, par contre, elle est quasiment présente, dans La canne sacrée du maître,
par exemple, par l’entremise du fleuve Congo, elle est celle qui, non seulement, aidait à la traversée de la frontière Congo Brazzaville-Zaïre, mais elle a noyé certains de mes personnages.
Quels sont les secrets d’un bon écrivain?
Il doit constamment lire et se mettre à l’écoute de la société. La société en elle-même est un roman qui dévoile ses secrets à ceux qui se mettent à son écoute. Un seul secret particulier: il faut lire les autres pour mieux écrire. L’inspiration ne s’apprend pas, mais bien écrire s’apprend.
