Kouba Nkouamoussou est né au Congo Brazzaville où il débute ses études primaires et secondaires. En 1985 il part poursuivre ses études supérieures à l’Institut Supérieur d’Agronomie de Plovdiv en Bulgarie qui seront tour à tour sanctionnées d’un Diplôme d’Ingénieur Agronome et d’un Doctorat ès sciences agronomiques. Enseignant chercheur à l’ENSAF (Ecole nationale supérieure d’agronomie et de foresterie) Université Marien Ngouabi, il vit entre la France et le Congo. « Royan l’enfance volée » est sa première publication romanesque. Il est marié père de trois enfants.
Que représente la période de l’enfance pour un homme, en l’occurrence celle de Royan, le héros de votre roman « Royan l’enfance volée » ?
L’enfance est la période pendant laquelle le physique et le mental se développent. Elle se situe entre la naissance et l’adolescence, c’est une période cruciale où l’enfant a besoin de l’affection, de la protection et de l’amour de ses parents. Cette période pour Royan qui ne s’est pas déroulée normalement n’a représenté que le mépris, la maltraitance, la souffrance la cruauté et la désolation en un mot le gâchis, faute d’avoir perdu ses parents protecteurs, trop tôt.
Belle-mère et beau-fils forment rarement un beau ménage, pourtant dans votre roman, le pardon réconcilie Royan avec la femme de son père…
Merci d’avoir soulevé ce volet qui est même le fondement de mon roman, à travers celui-ci j’ai voulu faire passer un message, pour dire qu’il est toujours possible de pardonner peu importe le préjudice subi. Les souffrances endurées par Royan durant son enfance lui ont adouci le cœur et se sont muées en une force jusqu’à lui entrevoir un avenir radieux. Pourquoi ne pas pardonner ?
Royan, orphelin maltraité, arrive quand même à réussir sa vie puisqu’il est docteur après des études supérieures en France ?
Royan, c’est la force du destin, un destin hors du commun, sa chance c’est d’avoir rencontré cette femme au grand cœur Eugénie qui a su l’encadrer et le protéger comme son propre fils.
Enfant de la rue, enfant sorcier : un triste sort pour la jeunesse, qu’en pensez-vous ?
Ce phénomène d’enfant de la rue ou enfant sorcier, c’est un néo fléau qui gangrène nos sociétés superstitieuses où pour un rien on rejette la responsabilité sur l’autre. Le manque de maternité ou autres causes ne devraient pas être un prétexte d’exclusion et de rejet. La situation socio-économique exécrable, ne facilite pas non plus les choses.

Oui bien sûr un roman en perspectives, mais je me prononcerais le moment venu !

Le manque d’amour, de tolérance nous pousse à ne pas nous supporter les uns, les autres, l’enfant qu’on maltraite aujourd’hui sera ton sauveur demain, comme quoi chacun de nous est le carrefour de l’autre le cas Royan en est l’illustration et ce n’est pas Regina qui me contredira.
