POURQUOI NE PAS CHANTER L’ESPOIR ?
Dans la préface de Silence sous les Tropiques,
Marie-Léontine Tsibinda Bilombo écrivait : « les thèmes de la littérature du Congo-Brazzaville sont pour l’essentiel, centrés autour de l’identité culturelle, de l’unité nationale, de la coexistence pacifique des communautés, de l’amour, de la réhabilitation des opprimés, de résistance, de corruption et de viol[1] ». Ainsi, avec de nouvelles voix qui se lèvent, chez la jeune génération d’écrivains congolais, la littérature congolaise contemporaine, d’expression écrite, semble se chercher elle-même de nouvelles voies pour s’écrire et s’adapter aux mouvements du temps. Il y aurait comme une attente secrète à voir les auteurs explorer de nouveaux thèmes, pour de nouveaux horizons. On ne peut éternellement se baigner dans le même fleuve[2], se justifient certains tenants de ce mouvement. Tandis que d’autres expliquent que « nous sommes appelés poètes pour ce que l’on voit et non ce que les gens croient[3] ». C’est dans ce cadre de construction de nouvelles voies de la littérature congolaise que le 02 septembre 2021, sur la page du groupe « Le Cercle de Brazzaville », réunissant certains auteurs et penseurs du Congo, militants pour les libertés, le poète Giany Nandez Mokouendza, publiait le poème « La nuit ou Finitudes », extrait de son recueil en préparation, Eulalies ou poèmes d’enfance. Ce texte a emporté l’émoi des lecteurs et suscité des interrogations dont nous décidons de publier un abrégé remarquable.

Au nombre des lecteurs ayant discuté de ce poème, figure en bonne place l’intellectuel congolais, enseignant d’histoire et de géographie, directeur des études du collège d’enseignement général de Ngo, le professeur Gombé Magloire. Ce dernier fait le constat d’un pessimisme engagé chez les écrivains du réseau « LCDB », d’où son interrogation :
« Apparemment vous vous êtes tous donné le mot pour nous stresser encore plus. Bon, le quotidien n’est pas des plus reluisants, je vous l’accorde. Il y a beaucoup à faire, c’est vrai. Participez donc concrètement. Agissons au lieu de nous plonger ainsi dans cette mélancolie perpétuelle. En lisant ce texte, ô combien beau, je constate : quel pessimisme ! Pourquoi ne pas chanter l’espoir ? »
À ce propos, le poète, romancier et philosophe, Kiessila Oleg Fabrice, répond en signifiant ce qui suit :
« Magloire Gombé, nous avons tant chanté l’espoir, nous avons tant vanté l’espérance. D’ailleurs nous continuons à les implorer. Mais qu’avons-nous obtenu ? Je peux le dire : rien ! Nada ! Que dalle ! Pourtant nous y croyons. Mais cela ne peut pas nous faire oublier la réalité. D’ailleurs, la fonction du poète est de dire la vérité, de peindre la société, de dénoncer les faits lorsqu’il le faut, de vanter les mérites aussi. Mais je préfère prévenir : ce n’est pas un pessimisme…plutôt un réalisme ».
Renchérissant aux propos du poète-philosophe, Gombé Magloire déclare :
« Oui, mais quelle tristesse ! Je suggère que l’on continue d’ouvrir cette fenêtre que vous autres philosophes nommez si bien : l’optimisme transcendantal ».
À la suite de cet échange, l’auteur a intervenu en donnant quelques lumières supplémentaires sur son écriture et le travail du réseau « LCDB ». S’adressant à Gombé Magloire, il déclarait :
« Merci pour cette remarque. Certainement nous serons les poètes pessimistes comme il y a eu les écrivains de l’absurde. Camus, Labou Tansi, etc. Néanmoins, nous aurons ainsi marqué notre époque par ce qui la caractérise le mieux, à savoir : l’inquiétante étrangeté. Sans faire exprès donc, vous venez de nous ouvrir une perspective explicative et classificatoire. D’un côté, nous, ceux qui peignons la nuit du Congo ; de l’autre côté, il y aura ceux qui vont chanter le jour du Congo. Cependant, il y a encore du plomb dans l’aile et il nous cloue au sol, assiégés par le poids du présent. Mais quand les enfants porteront des étoiles aux pieds à la place des skates, patins et rollers ; lorsque les hommes porteront des soleils neufs à la place des Ray Bane cachant mal les cernes de leur insomnie ; lorsque les femmes porteront des lunes pleines, sur la tête, à la place des perruques bouffardes : nous chanterons « Congo nde mboka ». C’est pour autant dire qu’il n’est pas impossible de varier dans le deuxième âge de notre écriture. Là, nous parlerons peut-être du Congo nouveau. Puisque nous sommes appelés poètes pour écrire ce que l’on voit et non ce que les gens croient ».
En conclusion à ce dialogue, l’intellectuel et enseignant d’histoire-géographie, a souhaité vivement voir se réaliser la renaissance de la littérature autour des thèmes évocateurs de lumières, loin des affres et des nuits d’insomnie. Parce que, dit-il, le monde ne changera pas tout seul. Il formule aussi à l’auteur un vœu pieux, à savoir : « Relire ma préface sur l’une de tes œuvres de jeunesse ».
En effet, il convient de rappeler que Gombé Magloire et Kiessila Oleg Fabrice furent tous deux professeurs dans un même lycée de Brazzaville alors que le jeune Giany Nandez Mokouendza abordait son secondaire dans le même établissement. Il eut les deux pour enseignants. L’un en histoire-géographie, l’autre en philosophie. L’amitié des trois est née de leur confluence intellectuelle. Plus tard qu’en 2019, Oleg Fabrice Kiessila et Giany Nandez Mokouendza collaborent et signent un ouvrage collectif en hommage aux morts, victimes de l’arbitraire au sein du monde et dédicacé à la famille de Merveille Bazonzela et à celle de Chloé Nsoni Bafouidi.
Tous deux sont aussi fondateurs de la plateforme Le Cercle De Brazzaville (LCDB).
BREF APERÇU SUR L’AUTEUR 
Poète, essayiste, militant civique, diplômé en droit privé fondamental, né le 26 juillet 1985 à Brazzaville, Giany Nandez MOKOUENDZA réside à Brazzaville, capitale de la république du Congo où, en dehors de ses activités professionnelles et civiques, il anime le Club de Lecture et des Arts « U Tam’si » et enseigne le français. Il est auteur chez Edilivre du recueil de poèmes, Mes ennuis, mes espoirs, vol. 1, Méditation, Paris, 2019, et chez L’Harmattan, Paris, 2021.
Par son œuvre, il se définit comme poète des libertés et, par affinité littéraire, disciple de Tchicaya U Tam’si. Son écriture, qualifiée de poésie narrative, tourne autour des thèmes liés à l’amour, la fuite du temps, la justice sociale, la promotion des droits humains, la condition de femme et le droit à la différence. À travers ces différents textes, pour la plupart satiriques, s’entremêlent l’ironie, le comique, le pathétique et le mélancolique.

They’ve skyrocketed in pop culture fame, in part thanks to the addition of axolotls to the video game Minecraft in 2021. These unusual salamanders are now found everywhere from Girl Scout patches to hot water bottles. But there’s more to axolotls than meets the eye: Their story is one of scientific discovery, exploitation of the natural world, and the work to rebuild humans’ connection with nature.
A scientific mystery
Axolotl is a word from Nahuatl, the Indigenous Mexican language spoken by the Aztecs and an estimated 1.5 million people today. The animals are named for the Aztec god Xolotl, who was said to transform into a salamander. The original Nahuatl pronunciation is “AH-show-LOAT”; in English, “ACK-suh-LAHT-uhl” is commonly used.
Axolotls are members of a class of animals called amphibians, which also includes frogs. Amphibians lay their jelly-like eggs in water, and the eggs hatch into water-dwelling larval states. (In frogs, these larvae are called tadpoles.)
Most amphibians, once they reach adulthood, are able to move to land. Since they breathe, in part, by absorbing oxygen through their moist skin, they tend to stay near water.
Axolotls, however, never complete the metamorphosis to a land-dwelling adult form and spend their whole lives in the water.
“They maintain their juvenile look throughout the course of their life,” Voss said. “They’re teenagers, at least in appearance, until they die.”
