Elle se nomme Mpego Lubuetete pour la scène. Son nom est Divine Loubelo-Mankessi. Mais laissons-la nous expliquer ce que cela signifie : « Mpego c’est l’ombre. Comme j’aime bien le dire, ce n’est pas l’ombre que l’on ferait à quelqu’un pour nuire. Mpego c’est l’ombre d’un arbre par exemple, donc un abri, un refuge. C’est un endroit paisible, calme, où nous allons nous abriter quand il fait chaud dans nos pays. Où une maman travaillant aux champs va coucher son enfant qui s’est endormi sur son dos… Où l’on va faire la pause de midi, pour déjeuner, toujours lors des travaux champêtres… C’est toute une chaîne d’exemples. Concernant l’ombre pour nuire à quelqu’un, en Lâri on dit : kintiete ou kimfùnia. Lubuetete c’est l’étoile et nous connaissons tous la douceur et la beauté d’une étoile dans les cieux très hauts… »
Sur la toile, vous nous apprenez à nous familiariser avec la langue Lâri : d’où vient cette langue, que signifie-t-elle et que véhicule-t-elle? Quels sont les enjeux de cet apprentissage?
Le Lâri tire son existence dans le Kikongo qui est elle-même la langue originelle. Autrement dit le Kikongo a donné naissance à plusieurs variantes dont les Lâri que moi j’essaie d’enseigner. Le Lâri véhicule tout ce qu’une langue peut transmettre: les valeurs, les principes, la culture, l’amour, le pardon, la connaissance, le savoir vivre…
Toujours sur la toile vous dites Lari 1, 2 ,3… pourquoi cette division précise? Qu’attendez-vous du lecteur?
Je voulais y aller par numéro pour faciliter le visionnage. Par exemple si quelqu’un tombait pour la première fois sur mes vidéos que c’est le numéro 3, qu’il s’oriente facilement avec la numérotation. Mais, comme j’ai eu un souci de micro et que j’ai entre temps glissé de petites et courtes vidéos d’ordre correctionnel, alors cela a changé, voire chamboulé cette numérotation.
Avez-vous une idée du nombre d’habitants qui parlent cette langue?
Le nombre exact d’habitants qui la parle, je ne sais pas. Seulement je sais que c’est une langue qui est parlée par presque, sinon, toutes les ethnies du pays. Et quand ces personnes parlent, tant qu’elles ne vous disent pas qu’elles ne sont pas Lâris/M’kongo, vous ne le saurez jamais. Tellement elles s’expriment très bien.
D’où vous est venue cette brillante idée? Et comment préparez-vous votre émission?
C’est une passion qui est née des suites d’un manque, d’un vide. En effet, ce que je partage dans mon aventure, C’est ce que je suis allée chercher sur Internet. J’avais besoin d’approfondir mes connaissances en Lâri, m’améliorer. Et j’espérais vraiment tomber sur le genre de vidéos que je fais, qu’elles soient faites par un/une professionnelle. J’étais choqué de constater qu’il n’y avait rien de tel. Alors je me suis dit, pourquoi je ne le ferais pas moi, même si ce sera une méthode empirique, l’essentiel est que je partage avec les autres le peu que je sais, je suis sûre qu’il y en a dehors des personnes dans le même besoin que moi. Que cela éveillerait les consciences, l’importance d’enseigner nos langues, ce qui manque cruellement dans nos écoles. Voilà!
Avez-vous une équipe pour mettre à point la communication de vos leçons?
Qui dessine pour vous les images que vous présentez?
Non! Je n’ai pas d’équipe. Cependant, j’ai des personnes qui me soutiennent et m’accompagnent à distance. J’écris mes textes, les relis et corrige ce qu’il y a à corriger, à ajouter… Quand j’ai le temps de tourner la vidéo, je me lance dans le tournage. Mon neveu a fait le graphisme « Apprendre le Lâri» et en début des vidéos c’est moi qui chante.
Comment vous sentez-vous dans cette école de professeur de Lâri ?
Je me sens très bien, très à l’aise. Je me sens épanouie et spéciale. Au début je clignais des yeux, je n’avais pas l’habitude de me mettre devant une caméra. Mais maintenant tout va bien. Je me sens maîtresse de mes mouvements.
L’enseignement du Lâri mis à part, quelles sont les autres choses qui vous passionnent dans la vie? La danse, la musique, la littérature, la coiffure ou autre chose?
La musique, la cuisine, la coiffure. Un peu de lecture et d’écriture.
Pensez-vous à mettre en valeur d’autres langues du Congo? Lâri et kikongo des langues qui se chevauchent ou sont-ce des langues bien distinctes?
Le Lâri étant une variante du Kikongo, il ne s’éloigne pas vraiment beaucoup du Kikongo originel et même d’autres variantes aussi. L’un des avantages de toutes ces variantes est qu’elles s’entendent et se comprennent mutuellement, sur beaucoup de mots. Non, je n’ai qu’une bonne base sur le Lâri/ Sundi, donc je ne peux pas faire la même chose avec les autres langues du pays.
Et si Mpego Lubuetete nous donnait le nom de son plat préféré en Lâri et nous l’expliquait en français?
Feuilles de manioc avant d’être pilées et préparées
Le choix est difficile à faire car j’ai beaucoup de plats préférés : le ntôba mubòdi ou ntôba m’bori, sont des feuilles de manioc fermentées, vient ensuite le mbuîla, une classe d’insectes qui traînent la nuit autour des lampadaires ou d’autres lumières. Je n’oublie pas le délicieux et inoubliable bouillon à la congolaise : le ndûnda ya dzabù composé simplement de légumes préparés sans sauce, juste avec un peu d’eau, du sel et du gombo…
Après fermentation dans des feuilles, le ntôba m’bori est déballé tout simplement et placé dans une casserole. On y ajoute du poisson fumé, de l’huile de palme, de l’oignon, du sel et un peu d’eau, bien sûr. Le cube Maggi ou le sel de Chine peuvent être ajoutés à la préparation. Puis on laisse cuire lentement. Le gombo est rajouté vers la fin de la cuisson ou même après. Le ntôba m’bori est accompagné de foufou, manioc et poisson braisé. Cependant les fins connaisseurs le préfèrent avec du poisson salé comme le bue ka buêni, sauté. Du piment pour ceux qui en mangent.
Quant à la préparation du mbuîla, il faut une certaine expérience. Elle est délicate même si le mbuîla se prépare comme tout bouillon sauvage congolais. Il ne faut pas le cuire pendant longtemps, de peur qu’il ne perde son goût exquis et ne devienne amer. On peut aussi le faire revenir juste avec du sel et un peu d’eau. Il s’appelle alors mbuîla ya fukusu.
Que faites-vous dans la vie de tous les jours mis à part le fait d’enseigner le Lâri?
Dans la vie de tous les jours je suis plus une femme au foyer que professeur de lâri. Cependant je m’occupe aussi en coiffant. Et j’apprends à chanter de manière professionnelle du gospel et je le fais en solo. Ce sont des chants Gospel déjà connus que j’interprète. Je prends plaisir à composer mes propres chants, même si l’auteure-compositrice que je suis ne sors pas encore les compositions car payer un studio demande des moyens. Mes chansons sont en lâri et français.
Un souhait, un conseil?
Je souhaiterais avoir plus de temps et de matériel pour mes vidéos, beaucoup de partages de mes publications pour plus de visibilité. Je souhaiterais aussi que les autorités mettent en place une politique permettant d’enseigner nos langues dans nos écoles, que nous ne les parlions pas seulement mais que nous soyons aussi capables de les lire et les écrire avec toutes les règles d’orthographe et de grammaire qui vont avec. Un conseil? Que les gens d’autres ethnies prennent des initiatives comme moi afin que les Congolais apprennent la langue des uns et des autres, de toute façon, c’est la culture congolaise dans toute sa diversité qui sera promue.
